Tents have entered Fortnite Chapter 3, but how do they work?

The tent can be found as ground loot around the map, which appears as a blanket. Once activated, the roller blind turns into a full-size tent that can be used by you or your entire team. First of all, it is best to know exactly what the tent does in order to use it effectively. In short, the tent provides a way for players to store items and rest.
The tent allows players to hide any extra items they must use in later rounds. It is perfect for when your inventory is full but you don't want to leave any premium loot. By default, the tent comes with two inventory slots, but you can use gold bars to unlock more slots. You can basically use the tent as an inventory expansion, because if you roll it up and redeploy it elsewhere, whatever you store in it will be remembered.

In addition, the tent gives players a chance to rest and slowly heal you. Similar to how trash cans and hay bales on the island work, you will be able to hide in a tent without being noticed. However, you will not be completely unobtrusive, because if any enemy player gets close enough to hear and pay attention to it, a sound prompt will be played. This voice prompt indicates that the tent is not empty.
Enemy players can't steal from your tent, but they can misappropriate it. Any items in the tent will be reset, but the tent itself will be completely hijacked. Kind of like a very bad Coachella experience.
To use the tent, simply deploy it from your inventory. By using your interactive buttons, you can choose to rest or manage your storage. After entering, you can rest or wait for unsuspecting enemies to pass by. Here, you can carry out a sneak attack and really make someone jump up.
If you want to move the tent to a new location, just go back to the "Manage Storage" tab and select "Pack Tent". This will turn your tent into an item that you can carry and redeploy to other places.
