Valve showed off the Steam Deck cute suitcase (and all accompanying cardboard boxes) • Eurogamer.net

Before launch in February.

Usually, the first step after buying an expensive portable consumer electronic product (other than opening it and making a "whee" sound, of course) is to find some kind of box to put it in. Usually this is where I am stuffed. I sighed and sighed with my newly purchased socks, but Valve has covered all the contents of the Steam Deck and provided a cute little suitcase. All of its handheld gaming PCs will be Attached. And its box.

We have seen quite a few Steam platforms coming soon-including checking its internal structure and the classification system used by Valve so that buyers know exactly what is compatible with the new devices on Steam-but the company's latest updates are On the outside. Specifically, various packages of Steam Deck will appear.

Valve Steam Deck Specification Analysis: Can it really handle AAA PC games?

The first is the cardboard box itself, which is a comfortable packaging that keeps unused space to a minimum. Open it and you will find a (maybe not exhaustive) list-written in multiple languages-suggested locations where you may wish to use new equipment, including gardens, ferris wheels, terraces, trains, sofas, tents, test cabins, Submarine and toilet.

Then, once you take out the piece of paper that explains how to insert the Steam Deck and open it, you will see the included power adapter-with the accompanying cube embossment-and see the plastic block holding itself. Or at least the sleeve it wraps.

Throw everything out the window (actually, maybe not), and you will be welcomed by Steam Deck's curvaceous suitcase, which is included with every purchase. It is very stylish in its low-key way-of course the perfect score of the elegant minimalist brand-the internal organs are carefully shaped into the shape of the Steam Deck, which is tightly fixed in place.

According to Valve, the unit shown in its post is actually a design-verified manufacturing version of Steam Deck, which will be used for additional testing and sent as a development kit. "DV is the final prototype build before production," Valve explained, "it includes improvements to the EV2 build. After this build, the final product will have additional minor changes."

However, the packaging should be more or less, as it will appear when customers start receiving their products in February next year. The release date is of course a little later than the original plan. Due to the "material shortage", Valve finally chose to postpone the release of Steam Deck 2021 to next year.

“Although we do our best to solve global supply chain issues (we mean we have considered the extra time to consider these risks and work with multiple component suppliers),” Valve explained at the time, “our manufacturing plans are still affected ." Its current goal is to issue order invitations by February 2022, and it will "make every effort to convert all reservations to orders, but [is] cannot guarantee availability."
