A mother revealed that she and her youngest son live in a tent full-time and show off their bedroom.

TikTok user Christine who posted under @appaloosamama visited their unusual settings.

Christine, who sells knitwear online, said: "Hello everyone! So my son and I recently started living in tents full-time, so I thought I would show you around.

"So this is the main area where I sleep.

"There are these plastic drawers beside my bed. I can put some clothes and enough yarn in them to meet the orders I need that week."

In order to drive off the bugs, she hung a beer can trap by the bed.

Then she shook to the side of the tent, where there was another double bed.

Christine continued: "Go into my son's room.

"This is a cute little room behind the tent. He has two beautiful windows and a partition, you can zip up to protect your privacy.

"This is one of Walmart's instant cabin tents, and we like it very much.

"Because this is our life by the river now, and we like it very much."

Christine explained that they lived in a tent to reduce her expenses and pay off her debts so that she could buy them a cabin.

In the follow-up video, Christine shows how she now invests in a 5-foot-high bell-shaped tent, which is warmer in winter.

She showed off the layout of her kitchen and storage room, which contained jars, spices and many utensils.

She added: "I am very satisfied with my upgrade!"

Many people soon joined her camping lifestyle.

One person said: "Not sure if this is long-term."

However, another added: "If my parents said'we are always camping now' when I was a child, I would be irritated."

At the same time, a couple shared their lives in a truck trailer bought for £5,000-they converted it into a luxury cabin with a walk-in closet and kitchen.
