Reader response: Can we camp in the courtyard of the governor's mansion? -Morning call

Why do Pennsylvania parks and wasteful expenses make me more excited than usual?

In the morning when my eyes are opened, I usually browse the pages of "Morning Call". On November 13th, buried on page 6 was an article, “The courtyard of the Governor’s Mansion will receive $1.9 million in cosmetic surgery.” Try to imagine if you suddenly find that you have been raised through taxes when you are in a mess in a state park. Funds to fund the project.

My bride and I like to camp often and use the Promised Land State Park as a destination for our campers. Every time I enter the park next to Highway 390, I cower and desperately avoid potholes that seem to be bottomless holes and road patches that are several stories high. It was only to reach our campsite that it was discovered that the site was not well kept, if any.

However, the Governor’s Courtyard in downtown Harrisburg is worth $1.9 million for renovations.

This makes me wonder..... If the governor’s mansion is supported by our tax and he gets a green space on our label, we can venture to this new green space and build a space in his exclusive area Tent?
