A church was planning to host an event on the weekend, but before there was time, someone stole the party utensils.
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said that between 2:30 am and 11 am on Sunday morning, someone stole rental equipment provided by Tacos La Isla & Party Rentals. This happened at the church at 11431 Palm Beach Avenue.
Iglesia De Dios is hosting a party. The suspect stole nearly $5,000 worth of equipment, including a large commercial canopy tent, folding rental tables and chairs, which were set up before the event.
Felipe Sosa Ipzep is the pastor of Iglesia De Dios. "Well, our response is not bad. I just believe that the people who do this are because they lack understanding of what they are doing. Maybe they think they are doing a good job, but the theft is wrong," Ipzep said .
