The Chicago Bears may now become their backup quarterback. The Baltimore Ravens had to start Tyler Huntley today because Lamar Jackson is dealing with an illness (not COVID-19), which prevents him from practicing for most of the week. He was traveling this time hoping to participate in the competition, but they ruled that he was inactive before the start of the competition. Now, Justin Fields may also quit the game forever.
Someone saw Andy Dalton warming up on the sidelines, he really wants to participate in the game. Justin Fields went to the blue tent, and many people thought it might be a concussion. However, Justin Fields walked into the locker room, so we were all guessing. There are reports that Justin Fields has a rib injury.

The good news for the Chicago Bears is that Andy Dalton is a veteran. He came in, and in two games, he was able to lead the Bears to a touchdown and give the team a one point lead. Dalton's first game in his pocket, hit Jimmy Graham on a long crossover route, losing for the first time. Then on a quick bubble screen, Darnell Mooney walked a 60-yard touchdown to give the Bears a 7-6 lead.

But we need to calm down. Compared to most teams, I like Andy Dalton as a substitute for the Chicago Bears. In other words, Justin Fields is the future of this team. Although Andy Dalton made this look easy, the 60-yard bubble screen was all blocked. Darnell Mooney, not Ann. De Dalton.
In other words, I will give Dalton credit. He will be a reliable choice here because he is experienced and well-tested. At this point, he knows how to reach into his pocket, and he plays the ball much faster than Fields. This makes a big difference.
Due to the injury of Justin Fields, the Chicago Bears played against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. If Fields finishes the game today, he is likely to face the Lions on Thursday.
