Michigan State Police recruiting tent stolen from Cherry Festival

Michigan State Police are in search of two women after one of the agency's tents was stolen Monday morning at the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City. 

MSP set up a recruiting booth on Union Street near Garland Street, according to ClickonDetroit, and were also asked to provide security at the festival. 

Security footage shows two women stealing the recruiting tent a little after midnight on July 4. 

Officers are reviewing the films in an attempt to identify the suspects. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the agency's Cadillac Post at 231-779-6040.

In a Twitter post on Wednesday from northern Michigan MSP, officers stated that the criminal act will not stop recruiting efforts.
