The circus is usually not a Thanksgiving event in the Bay Area.
But this year—as entertainment is slowly coming back to life—Zoppé Family Circus has extended its holiday weekend performances, hosting three performances a day. As the area gets rid of pandemic restrictions, the theme of the circus is a suitable one. It is "La Vita Nuova" (New Life).
Multinational theater troupes are scheduled to perform at 12:30, 3, and 7 pm today; Saturday at noon, 3 pm and 7 pm; and Sunday at 3 pm and 6 pm
The circus tent is located in the Redwood City Main Library parking lot at 1044 Middlefield Road. Tickets range from US$19 to US$32 and can be purchased at www.redwoodcity.org/residents/redwood-city-events/zoppe-italian-family-circus or at the circus tent.
